RideSnac

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data RideSnac collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Brand note: RideSnac is an independent app and is not affiliated with any other rideshare or delivery brands.

Summary

  • We collect the minimum needed to run rides, orders, and chat.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not track you across other companies’ apps/websites for advertising.

What we collect

  • Account info: email and password for sign in.
  • Profile info: name and photo if you choose to add them.
  • Ride/order data: pickup/delivery addresses, ride/order status, and timestamps.
  • Location: approximate location used for ride/food tracking and map features (only when you use those features and allow it).
  • Chat content: messages you send in chat rooms, plus reports/ban events to keep the community safe.
  • Notifications: push notification token (if you enable notifications) so we can deliver service updates.
  • Usage analytics: basic app usage events (for example: screens opened, errors) to improve reliability.
  • Sharing events: if you use in-app share actions, we may record that a share was triggered (not your private social messages).
  • Subscription status: if you buy RideSnac Plus through Apple In‑App Purchase, we store subscription status to unlock features.

How we use it

  • Provide rides, food ordering, and real-time tracking.
  • Show trip/order history and receipts inside the app.
  • Send service notifications (like ride/order updates).
  • Prevent spam, fraud, and abusive behavior (especially chat).
  • Improve app stability and performance.

Sharing and service providers

We don’t sell your personal data. We share limited data with vendors that help run the app, such as:

  • Infrastructure: hosting and database services used by the Anything platform.
  • Maps: Google Maps (for map display and routing).
  • Purchases: RevenueCat and Apple App Store for subscription purchases and entitlement status.
  • Notifications: push services needed to deliver notifications.

Tracking / advertising

RideSnac does not run third‑party ads and does not track you across other apps or websites for advertising. Because we do not do that kind of tracking, we do not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data only as long as needed to run the service and meet legal/safety requirements. You can delete your account inside the app or from the web at /account/delete. When you delete your account, we remove your sign‑in identity and scrub personal profile fields. Some transaction and safety logs may be retained for fraud prevention and record‑keeping.

Your choices

  • You can turn location permissions on/off in iOS Settings.
  • You can turn notifications on/off in iOS Settings and inside the app (promotional notifications are optional).
  • You can request help or deletion via support if you can’t access your account.
